First stop is the village of Alloway, the birthplace of Scotland`s National Bard, Robert Burns. Here we have the opportunity to visit “Burns Cottage” and a major new attraction, the recently opened Robert Burns Birthplace Museum. The next stop of your choice, will be either Dumfries House, one of Britain`s most beautiful stately homes, with its sumptuous interiors and magnificent furnishings, the house was restored and saved for the nation by HRH Prince Charles in 2007. Or skirt the Ayrshire coast and cross over the world famous optical illusion known as “The Electric Brae” Enjoy panoramic views across the Irish Sea and the granite bird Sanctuary of “Ailsa Craig” from where curling stones are hewn, as we continue towards Culzean Castle, seat of the Clan Kennedy.
