LOCH LOMOND PLUS A VISIT TO YOUR CHOICE OF ATTRACTION (8 HOURS)
After we cross the Erskine bridge and the River Clyde we make our way along the Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond to the pretty village of Luss. Here you have the option to take a sail on the Loch.
Onward to Tarbet for some spectacular photographs of the loch and Ben Lomond. Next there is the opportunity to visit “Antartex Village” which offers an excellent selection of woolens and cashmeres at value prices, before heading round to picturesque Balmaha on the east side of the loch. To complete the day we will visit your choice of one of the following attractions.
- The Hill House: A stunning example of Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s architecture.
- Glengoyne or Auchentoshan distillery. Enjoy a guided tour and a wee dram of fine single malt Scotch whisky.
- Dumbarton Castle: Mary Queen of Scots sailed from this castle to France to marry the Dauphin in 1548.
- Loch Lomond Shores: Visit the “Sea Life Aquarium” with its stunning glass tunnel.
