On leaving Glasgow we cross the Erskine bridge and the River Clyde and make our way along the Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond to the pretty village of Luss.

After leaving Glasgow and crossing the Erskine Bridge, we journey along stunning Loch Lomondside and take in the panoramic views of Scotland`s most beautiful loch. We stop for a coffee break at the famous Drovers Inn before travelling across the wild Rannoch Moor and through the pass of Glencoe, scene of the bloody massacre of the Clan Macdonald in 1692.

As a symbol of Scotland’s nationhood, William Wallace was a key figure in the Wars of Independence during the 13th and 14th centuries. In September 1297, Wallace began the battle to win Scotland’s independence and joined forces with Sir Andrew Murray. Together they routed the English army of King Edward I at the Battle of Stirling Bridge. This victory was followed up by an invasion into Northern England.
